Good morning, I'm stumbling up to the tiki hut with my sunglasses on ready for my massage from the cabana boy. I could use it after all the fun I had this weekend.
Gather round with your tropical drinks for story time.
Friday night my friend and I were going to see this play at the local theatre, one of our friends was one of the hairstylist for the play. Anyway, it was really cute but very long, it took an hour and a half until just intermission. So, we decided to ditch the other half and go to the bar.

It was still early but when we got to the bar there were cars everywhere. I still can't believe how packed it was before 10 o'clock. So, anyway we walked around, scoped the place out but there really wasn't anywhere to sit. So, we danced a while and we noticed this guy staring at me, he was cute and so we were coming up with a plan to meet him. In the meantime there was still no place to sit and we were starting to feel dorky standing there watching this guy so we went out on the patio, it's really cozy out there, not too many people like inside it has couches, tables and chairs, a fireplace. So we sit here and I was in view of the guy, but he had to turn now to see me, so I thought it was funny and I started counting how many times he turned. Anyway, I wasn't paying attention to anyone on the patio but we made some comment about how nice it was out there and this guy agrees so we kinda talk to them a second and then they come and sit by us. The one guy sits right beside me and so his friend sits by my friend and they start talking. Ok, I'm not a blonde but boy was I dense, or drunk, or both.

I'm still over here counting how many times the other guy looks at me and announcing the number to our group.

So, finally the guy inside who kept looking and his friend left. Good thing.

Lauren and I go to the bathroom and I said to her man that guy left and she says Marcie....do you not like the guy sitting next to you? I told her I thought they were at our table to talk to her. She says OMG Marcie he is so totally into you don't you think he's cute. My friend Lauren is really, really protective over me and she is determined for me to find a good guy so when she said that I had to think hmmmm. So, she tells me later I asked her at least 4 times if he was cute. I was just so confused that she actually liked a guy for me.

So we go back to the table and I finally really look at him and talk to him. Yes, he was very cute. A young hottie. He works out like me, runs and has a membership at the same gym.

He bought all my drinks then we decided to go to another bar, which was pretty dead and we played doubles pool. We all 4 got along great. I told them we should do it again and he said next weekend. He has my number, but Lauren says I won't hear from him for a few days because guys have that 3 day rule.

It was so nice to spend an evening with 2 fun guys who enjoyed our company and didn't ask them to go home with them.
Uggghhh which leads me to last night.

We were standing around and had a lot of attention since it was a bachlorette party. Well this guy was standing around and the bride to be was talking to him so I asked him to dance. We danced one group of songs, and he bought me a drink. THEN he asked me to leave with him that night. GEEEEEEZ. The rest of the night I tried very hard to avoid him but he followed us around, and even right before we left he was watching us. It was creepy.
