Adventures by Disney-Honeymoon

We would love to take an Adventures by Disney Honeymoon to China or Paris. However, it is totally out of the budget and calendar dates don't match up for when we are having our vow renewal. Would it be odd to take a honeymoon BEFORE the vow renewal by several months or AFTER the wedding by several months?

Has anyone ever taken an Adventures by Disney trip for their honeymoon? What was your experience? Thanks.
