Adventurer's Club vets--refillable canteen?

Hi!
I bought DH the AC cateen off of ebay. I remember hearing that they still honor the "free refills" if you bring to the Club. Any idea if this is true?

The AC canteens (and tiki mugs and yakoose mugs and monkey head mugs) never offered free refills. However, they do have greater capacity than the regular plastic cups. The deal was that you could get refills at the same price as a regular-sized drink. They were still honoring them as of a couple of years ago, but I haven't been travelling with my tiki mug ever since I lost half of my collection in a freak vacuum cleaner accident.
