Im going to wdw next week with my daughter and her 9 college friends. I plan to take them to the Adventurers Club and I wondered where we should sit in order for them to experience the best interation, bar, table, etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Mary:bounce: :jester: :Pinkbounc

It depends on which room you are in. In the main room, sit on the round cushioned "sofa" in the middle of the room nearest the wall where the door to the restroom is; in the trophy room and mask room it doesn't really matter where you sit, these are very small areas. In the Library choose a table either fairly close to the stage or right in the middle of the room. Actually the performers at AC are really good about moving around and interacting with as many people as possible.

I really enjoy Adventurer's Club and it's a smoke free environment too. It doesn't get smoky in there.

I love that place!! It's great to take unsuspecting people into the mask room. After you've had a drink you could sit at the bar, just act really nonchalant. Do not miss the show. Kongaloosh!!

I have seen the AC, but not from the inside.
What is it and what is it like?

Thank you all, Im sure we'll have a great time, I read about the kangaloosh, LOL :) Mary

We were there in Dec during Dis con. It was my first trip to the AC.
I loved it, we had a blast! Our group was scattered all throught the room and the cm's were all over the room. Our table was pretty much in the middle of the room and the maid sat with us most of the show. I cant wait to take my dh.
Kongaloosh!

Great, sounds like all the seats are good, with myself and ten teens, we'll probably have to split up anyway, thanks all :):jester:

A personal opinion: For you and your daughter's crew to feel part of the action, don't sit in one place all night. There are shows available most of the time in the library (main shows) or one of the smaller rooms, but some of the best action in the main lobby takes place while the shows are in play. Stay all night if you have to in order to see the colonel. Kongaloosh!

It's soooo difficult to describe perfection! Here's a website for "the Adventurer's Club Monthly." Here you'll find descriptions of the Club and its characters, pictures of the inside, and actual movies of the characters in action. Kongaloosh!

The place isn't that big. Wherever you are, you'll be part of the action. And, unless it's a very slow night, you won't be able to keep that many people seated all together anyway, except in the library. There aren't really very many seats in the main bar, and you're often lucky if you can find one.

First off guys - it's Kungaloosh! :p

And don't forget to offer the Colonel a drink.

Or sit at the bar and ask the barkeep to "work his magic" ;)

Marching along we're adventurers

Singing the song of adventurers

Up or down

North, south, east, or west

An adventurers life is best!

:) I'd post The Beer Song, but I hate to spoil the surprise for the newbies.

Oh, most definately. You haven't properly learned the beer song until you've learned it from the colonel. To Mary, ask the Colonel to teach you. He's quite the generous fellow. And my heavens, it IS Kunguloosh....

Jump up for Jinkies!

I actually changed my title before posting here, so as not to give anything away...

Attend a New Member Induction (there are 3 of them per night) to be sure and see the Colonel in action.

If you can stay until the bitter end, definitely go to the Hoopla! show in the library (it's the last show).

If Mary is there between the 1st and the 4th I will be seeing where she manages to seat all those teenagers.

KUNGALOOSH.

Sounds like its quite the take! Nala Im going to be there on Sunday or Monday for sure, or both, LOL. DOes that mean you'll be there each each nite, 2,3, and 4th? Mary

Ill be the haggard looking lady trying to keep up with ten college girls, arrrrggghhhhh! Cant wait to see AC.! :jester:

Not quite, it means I'll be there every night 1, 2, 3 and 4. That place is my Orlando trip hangout.

Im glad noone posted the beer song, it will be all new to us. :) Nala, does that mean that each time you leave the main area for an event in the library, you lose your seat? I know we will have to split up but I guess we can handle that. :Pinkbounc :jester:

Mary,

Hope you don't mind me answering that! You will loose your seat everytime you get up. The AC is a revolving thing. There's always a show in progress, always seats opening and being filled. The most crowded time in the lobby is right before a library show. We've never had a problem finding a seat.

Pat, Thanks, Im glad to know we will be able to get a seat......I hope to get them all over there so we can get in line an hour early. 2 days and counting! :)
Mary
