Advantage Rent a Car

Has anyone rented from them? If so, I'm curious to learn about your experience? They are significantly less than their competitors , but you have to take shuttle to their location from MCO. Is it worth saving over $100?

Hmm I have never heard of this company. I checked out their website and for the dates that I need, they are only $15 cheaper for the week than Budget.

I have used them once before and are using them again this August. They are located just down the street from the airport so will shuttle you back and forth. They were fine, no problems and quick picking up and returnng. I prefer to rent in the terminal but we got a rate with Advantage of $187 tax incl for 8 days (midsize) and there is nothing that comes even close to that. Actually, sometimes going offsite can be just as quick even with the shuttle...we were picking up a car last week at MCO and the line at Alamo was ridiculous.

We were thinking about renting this time...Is Advantage a better deal in general?

Advantage was recently bought by Hertz, so if you rent from them it's like renting from Hertz at a cheaper price. Probably not a bad way to go.

Hi. We just got back yesterday from WDW. We rented from Advantage for 6 nights. It is a little farther then some of the rental car places. The shuttle took about 10 minutes to take us to the location. We were able to get a 6 day rental for $193.00. I thought that was a pretty good deal. Just about $100 less from all the competitors. Just watch it when you check in. They try and sell you extra coverage. He handed me the receipt and it was over $400. I told him no thank you, and he took all the charges off. Although the car was small, it served it's purpose. I highly recommend a rental car if you are staying off property. We stayed at the Ramada Gateway, and they only have a few shuttle times each day. We drove to DTD each day, parked at MarketPlace, and rode the shuttle to the French Qtr. Once there, we transferred to the bus going to the park where we were readed for the day. Saved us $12 a day!
