Advanced Point Planning

So, I have two reservations booked, one for August and the other for December; the august reservation is for 8 nights and december reservation is for 10 nights.

I should be thinking about these upcoming trips, but I am already starting to think about how I want to use my 2015 points for August 2015

Found out our DD was pregnant with DGS in Feb 2011. Started that day planning points usage to go on this May's upcoming DCL trip.
Started planning points usage for 30th anniversary DCL in 2016 back in 2013.
Already have 7 DVC trips reserved over the next 11 months.

Shoot...when we added on our HHI contacts in early 2012, I had plans figured out through my youngests' (twin DDs) graduation in 2017 (tweaked a tad since then but basically planned). Just waiting for 11 month windows so we can book.

2014- Aug- WDW for just DDs and I for 5 nights (was not part of the plan but I couldn't resist)...and then on to HHI where we (ladies) will meet the boys (DH and DS) for 5 nights.

2015- DS graduates (hopefully)... Aug- WDW/US for 7-9 nights total for DDs, DH and I...then F&W for a few nights for just DH and I

2016- Aug- HHI for DH, DDs and I.

2017- DDs graduate and we move south ...WDW for just DH and I (might just be big trip for F&W).

I have my points planned out to 2020. With only 60 points a year, I'm squeezing every last bit of value out of them. Not that the advanced planning matters much, since I tend to tinker with the plans constantly.

However, more points may be in our future. We're going to take 2016-2017 off from DVC trips, and likely use the money we'll save to get a small add-on.

I've planned through Summer 2017. Not too far but good enough for us. It gets us 3 big trips between now and then. After that we will likely shift to more little trips as our kids are getting older and it'll just be DH and I on vacay soon.

It is exciting to know that I am in such good company! Perhaps I should be thinking even further out
