Advanced Ordering...yes or no?

Is there a CM standing near the end of the line directing guests who have preordered to bypass all the folks already in line? Or, are we just supposed to make our way inside on our own? If so, don't people in line become upset and give dirty looks and/or make nasty comments?

When you check in they tell you to go straight ahead across the bridge where you will be held by CM if there are a couple families ahead of you. They will then direct you in the door to the next CM who will direct you to register in the "lobby".

Non-preorder folks on bridge wait to be let in the next line inside that turns and goes down a long hall to the ordering kiosk room. You bypass all that.

Thanks. We haven't been to DW in 10 years so a LOT has changed or is new for us.

Do it. Most times we have been the line is very long. If you pre-order they send you past all straight to a register to check out.

This was 2 days ago. This is the line across the bridge, then you go inside and wait in long hallway, then you go to kiosk to order.

Responses were folks waited 45 minutes even with ADR.

So if you pre-order, you walk past the ppl lined up on the right and there will be a check in desk for pre order ?
Also is there only one entrance to the restaurant?

nevermind, lol. Should have kept reading

See that "portico" on the left.
That is where everyone checks in.
After check in they either put you in line on bridge to order OR send you across bridge to next CM.
You will be directed at each point along the way.

One entrance and you leave the same way via foyer.

This is going in to foyer. Hallway for non-preorders goes right.
Preorder goes straight to register you can't see.
Leaving you come out that archway and go to the left out a door next to the entrance door.

Definitely preorder. We did not last year and waited about an hour. We pre ordered this year. Much faster. However, you can change your order once you get up to pay. We know this because the family of 12 that was in front of us changed their entire order. Basically started from scratch. That was somewhat frustrating as the children could not make up their minds what they wanted and the adults were in no hurry. The CM was so relieved when we were next and said no changes, paid and off to find a seat.

I have a reservation for 4 and the quick service dining plan. If want to preorder 3 meals (to share), 3 drinks, and 2 cupcakes (again to share). I assume I can use 3 quick service meals to pay for the food/drinks and charge the cupcakes on my magic band. This is OK right? I don't have to order 4 meals?
Thanks!

Correct. You can order as much or as little as you want like any other QS meal.

We were there for lunch and didn't preorder. We waited in line maybe 15 minutes. It was not too bad.

We didn't preorder either, but didn't wait longer than 10 minutes before we could place our order inside. We entered BoG on the left side (ADR entrance), and there was a huge line on the right side, for walk-ups. So I don't understand how the right-side is now designated for non-preorders. If that is the case, left side for preorders and right side for non, where would the line be for those with no ADRs whatsoever?

There isn't one. BoG pretty much requires an ADR for all meals, including QS breakfast and lunch. It is an uncommon occurrence that a walk-up is able to dine there. Even if they are allowed in, they have to check-in at the kiosk outside, then proceed to the non-preorder line.

This is just nuts, 45 minutes with an ADR?? This is how long it took before they started the ADRs at lunch. TERRIBLE! (Would definitely do the pre-order). Seems that every year the planning just gets more ridiculous. Soon you'll need an ADR to use the bathroom...:mad::mad:>:(>:(
