This is your first trip, right? You really do need to have at least ONE character meal. I went to character meals before my DD was even born, LOL! Best of all, most of the character meals are only 1 credit
. Only Cinderella's table in the castle is two credits.
Since you have older kids I would recommend Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort for you. It's a buffet so you can pick and choose what you want to eat. The Garden Grill over at the Land Pavillion in Epcot also has Mickey and his pals for dinner. I've also heard a lot of good things about the Mickey character meal at the Tusker House at Animal Kingdom, but you already have Boma as a reservation. I have read that the food is quite similar.
If your kids do like Winnie the Pooh, I really like the Crystal Palace at the MK for lunch. The food is better there than at Chef Mickey's IMO but the characters are geared more for younger kids.
