Adults ordering off the kid's menu at Blue Bayou?

My seventeen year old is a ridiculously picky eater. I've fought the battle all my life and at this point it just is what it is.

If she wants to order off the kid's menu at Blue Bayou, will she be allowed to for a higher price? Does anyone know the markup for an adult ordering it?

My kids are almost 18 and almost 16 and still order kids meals everywhere we go, practically. We sometimes just order 2 of them when I know servings are small. I have never been given the option to pay "an adult price for a larger portion." I've seen people here mention it, but it has never been offered to us. If we need a larger portion, we order 2 kids meals.

The kids meal portions at Disneyland TS restaurants are TINY. Just FYI. Like, toddler sized tiny. 2 oz of meat, a 4oz cup of pasta, a handful of baby carrots, maybe. It's probably a 200-300 calorie meal most times.

With two over 10, we've never been refused ordering for them off the children's menu.

I have a picky 14 year old that still orders off the kids menu 75% of the time. I’ve never had an issue and have only been charged extra one time. That was at Lamplight Lounge. They charged us double the price of a kids meal, but they also doubled the portion size so we were fine with it.

This happened for us at LL and we were super happy they would do that.

We tried doing the same at BB and they would not do that, so we had to order two kids meals for each of our sons. One ordered the beef meal. He got the smallest slices of steak and was still hungry after. It was a bummer and a lesson learned.

Our experience also. I have a very picky (but she is improving) 30yo daughter (HF ASD) and they have never had a problem with kids meals (but no drink included) doubled.

Good to know about Lamplight. We have navigated that one by simply getting our kids some CS beforehand and order them the donuts for dessert while DH and I enjoy a meal. Will probably keep doing it that way, TBH, because the kids options at LL are so limited anyway.

I want to clarify, we do this at Cafe Orleans, Lamplighter and Carnation Cafe.
