adults ordering from children's menu?

I was just curious about this - I am a 23 year old picky eater, not as picky as when I was a kid, but sometimes I have a hard time finding something I like on menus. I am planning a honeymoon for April, and for my hubby's sake I don't want to have CS for every meal (even I can't live off chicken nuggets for a whole week). So I was just wondering - at a TS restaurant would it be weird to order something off a children's menu if there's nothing I like on the regular menu? Most of the restaurants I picked out do have menus I like but there are 1 or 2 that I'm so-so about.

I would if I was'nt happy with the adult choices

My case this year is my DD is 10 considered adult, but she has already said there are some places she still wants the kids menu, so I am paying for her as an adult and she is only getting a 8 dollar meal. So somebody is making out and its not me....

We have the opposite situation where we have a 4 year old that would rather eat off the adult menu than the kids. Her favorite foods are steak and shrimp. lol. It's a lot easier for an adult to order off the kids menu than to do the opposite.

I have done this before, I think I might be the only person in history to go the Brown Derby and order a hot dog and fries from the children's menu. I have a dietary restriction, its not that I can't anything it is that I can not eat a lot at one time so I graze through out the day. I have never had a problem doing this and have never needed to explain it was a dietary thing. The only places that will not let you do this are buffets. So I get to pay 32.99 at Germany for soup and salad, oh well.

When they allow it they usually offer an adult size portion for an adult size price. BUT the kids food is HORRIBLE. They don't use the same chicken nuggets or pizza as you find in CS. They are very good at working with you though so if you like steak but they only offer one covered in a sauce you won't eat it's easy to get it without sauce for example. Lots of the pasta dishes they can do simply as well.
