Adults only trip

I am planning a one day two park trip with my adult children who are Harry Potter fans. We are hoping to be staying at a Universal hotel for the one night but still not sure. Does anyone have an idea of what the crowd size may be for a Sunday in October the 24th. We thought that although it is during the HHN it is a Sunday and folks have to go to work on Monday. Do you think we will be able to hit several of the IOA thrill rides and still find time to do ET, MIB, Hulk & Spiderman, in addition to catching the high points at WWOHP? Is this too ambitious? I know the kids want to do everything but we all have to be at work on Monday AM. We have a 7:30 flight home on Sunday.

HHN is only at the Studios so the crowds for HHN shouldn't affect IOA crowds. If you're only going to IOA, you should be fine...October isn't historically busy. You will see more and more crowds at the Studios and CityWalk towards the afternoon since people are arriving for HHN.

Thanks honestly I don't know which parks have the attractions we want to see so I guess I will have to do some info gathering. We haven't been to Universal in years.
