I know Palo is for adults only but my DD & I are going on a cruise together in March and she will be just shy of 18. How strict are they about enforcing "adults only" at Palo? Would they allow her to accompany me for dinner seeing as though she's so close to the required age? If we could do it together it would be great but if not, it's no big deal...I'm sure our cruise will still be wonderful. Just thought I'd ask. TIA

This is just a guess, but I'm thinking the problem might arise if she tries to order an alcoholic beverage and they check her card for her age. If you don't do that, and you "pay" with your card, you might be okay. I say ask when you get on board...the worst they can possibly do is say "no."

Thanks Barb...she will definitely not be ordering drinks so that won't present a problem. Do they ask who will be dining with you when you make your Palo reservation? If they don't then I figure she would probably be OK (she looks older than 18 and will definitely be acting and dressing like an adult).

i heard they are very strict about all this. if they make an acception for one person then they will have to for all people....somone please correct me if im wrong
lol i know i cant spell :crazy2:

We saw a family with 2 teens at dinner. The son wore a white shirt and very short tie, the daughter was better dressed. There is NO way the son was 18. He acted and looked 16 or 17. The daughter seemed more mature. They didn't kick either out, tho they seemed too loud.

I think your daughter would be fine and if she is mature, no one would dare ask!

Palo's was wonderful in my opinion. If you can get her in, you will be delighted.
