adult costumes from disney direct

Hi! We are going to MNSSHP and my little boy wants to be peter pan and me to be Tinker Bell. Gotta love em.

Since disneydirect has their costumes on sale I thought I might buy one. Has anyone bought costumes from them and if so how does the sizing run? I usually wear a 10 and the sizing chart says that a medium is a 10/12. I was just wondering if they run true to size.

I ordered Minnie in XL, but I'm told I should have gotten a large (I wear a 14), and I just ordered the Evil Queen in a L. I have not received either one yet, but I figure I should be getting Minnie very soon. I'll try to remember to post when I get it. I have been told that this year's costumes run pretty true to size, if not a bit bigger. I think that when in doubt, it's always better to go bigger, because then at least you can still wear it if you had to.

We just got the Medium Tinkerbell costume for my almost 10 yr old DD. It fits her perfectly (not form fitting with enough room for a shirt underneath if needed, it's "scratchy" to her). I am an 8/10 and there is no way I could wear it, I'd say order larger than you are. I almost got a small and am so glad I went with the medium, it's a little long but looks okay. She is 5'3" and weights 100 lbs. The child's Tinkerbell is nicer than the adult's in my opinion, first we ordered the Large child and no way it would fit.

I ordered four last night for us for MNSSHP--it was difficult making a decision on what size. I purposely waited until they went on sale, but now I do not have much time if there is a fitting problem.

One more thing........what kind of shoes would you wear with the tinkerbell costume.....I don't want to be uncomfortable at the MK all night.

I just got mine costume in the mail and I am going to be The Queen of Hearts and I got a 16/18 I usually wear a 14 and it is a little big but not too big. I can not wait this will be our first MNSSHP. My husband is going as goofy and I did not open his costume yet. Before you buy the costume if you have a disnye visa you can get 25% off the costumes.
