so here is my question. do you have better success calling to make your ADR's on the date that you can start booking or have you had better success doing it yourself online?
Since ADR's open online an hour before the phone lines open, I have chosen that method and found it works great! If you wait to call at 7:00am then you will have missed times that people select online between 6:00am and 7:00am. What I'm not sure about is if Disney holds back some of the reservations until the phone lines open at 7:00am.
I would say the one exception to this is when I was trying to book a reservation for friends at T-Rex around their 150 day mark. Everything was gone online but by calling the restaurant directly I was easily able to get a reservation.

I booked mine online successfully. It gives you an hour jump on the phone lines. If online doesn't work, then you can still phone as a back up. Good luck!!
Online. Even if your get the dreaded error message "We were unable to.....", keep trying. I was up at 5:45, made myself a coffee, logged on and waited until 6:00. After a few initial snags, I had almost all of my ADRs that I wanted booked by 6:30. Never needed the phone once.
