I was just wondering if there is a list somewhere of places that you MUST make ADRs to? I know my fiance and I want to do some sit downs and want to know which ones I HAVE TO call ahead of time. TIA

I don't know if someone compiled a list here, but it really does depend on when you go, how many in your party, etc. I say that it a good idea to be prepared and if you don't feel like going, you can cancel very easily.

We have gotten into restaurants at the last second because of someone else's cancellation, so you never want to give up.

BUT, IMHO, I would say (based on experience):

ALL signature restaurants
Chef Mickey's
Cinderella's Castle
Le Cellier
The Bistro
Rose and Crown (for dinner b/c of fireworks view)
LTT (but only on party night like MNNSHP)

I noticed something interesting when I called last week to make my ADR's. The CM repeated for each reservation that "advanced dining reservations were required". I didn't book any real high demand restuarants like LeCellier or CRT either. I remembered her saying it each time we did another restuarant. Thought it was strange, but maybe that is their way of telling folks to make them for ALL their choices, not just the more in demand ones:confused3

Better safe than sorry-make em for everywhere you want to go.

Hm that is interesting...thanks!

Is there any place that DOESN'T allow ADRs?

ESPN zone in the Boardwalk does not take ADR's. I don;t think Beaches & Cream does either

I've also noticed that 50's prime time and ohana's are very busy...last time I was at Ohana's someone asked when the next walk up ressie was and it was a 3 hr wait!!

I have no idea what the various restaurants or Disney's policy is on "must have" but if there's some place you really would like to eat and will be disappointed if you don't, then that's a MUST make ADR. It's really that simple - every place requires ADRs to be guaranteed that you can eat there. So if you don't want to be disappointed, make a reservation.

I've seen signs in both Epcot and MK saying that there were NO tables available all day at any TS restaurants and at MK once a sign saying none at TS in the park or any of the MK resorts. If you want to eat at a specific restaurant, or know you want to eat at even a lesser one, get that ADR!
