I am planning a trip to WDW in July w/ AP. We will probably get the DDE.

Do I need to make ADRs for each meal? In the past, we just ate wherever we wanted. (no character meals) How do you plan for something like that? How do you know what you will want to eat? How do you know what time?

Thanks in advance for all your answers and suggestions.

I plan my park days around evening EMH's mostly. Then I pick restaurants in or near those parks. If we're going to MK, for example, I look for a restaurant with a menu I like either in MK or one of the Monorail resorts. I base the time on when we would normally eat (for us - 7 - 7:30). Most of the time, it works pretty well. If it doesn't work on any given day, OH WELL! We cancel the ADR and try something else.

Good Luck!

If there are places you definately wanted to eat, then ADR's are a must. There have been days recently that MK wasn't allowing walkups to any table service restaurant. Resort table service places are filling up quickly as well. I would just make a guess on where you might be and try for something.
