Although I've been to WDW many times, I still get paranoid about our ADR plans. I know there's a lot, but I think I've space them out (if there's more than 1 in a day - usually a 6 hour difference) well enough. Any input would be much appreciated. I'm also really antsy since our trip is 12 days away and I want to have enough time to change things if necessary. Thanks so much in advance! ;)

Here goes:

May 14: arrival
lunch: counter service
dinner: LTT

May 15:
lunch: Sci-Fi Dine In (burger and milkshakes!)
dinner: 50's PT

May 16:
lunch: counter service
dinner: Fulton's Crab House (hate seafood, will get chicken, but DBF loves the crab claws and creme brulee)

May 17:
lunch: Teppanyaki
dinner: Alfredo's (never a bad experience yet, knock on wood)

May 18:
breakfast: Donald's Breakfastosaurus (this enables us to get in the park early and head to EE!)
lunch: Flame Tree or Tusker House
dinner: Hoop-Dee-Doo!

May 19:
lunch: counter service
dinner: Portobello Yacht Club (first time trying this - good/bad?)

May 20:
lunch: CRT (yes, I know I paid a lot!)
dinner: Tony's (a controversial one, I know)

May 21:
breakfast: 1900 Park Fare
lunch: counter service
dinner: Le Cellier

May 22:
lunch: counter service
dinner: Concourse Steakhouse

May 23:
lunch: counter service
dinner: Hollywood & Vine on FDP (if anyone will be cancelling MM on this date for the FDP, please PM me! We'd really prefer MM but had to settle for H&V since it's booked! TIA!)

May 24: Departure :guilty:
lunch: counter service

Thank you all for taking the time to look at this! I really really appreciate it!

I really liked Portobello when we went, but it was a few years ago.

I really dislike Fulton's, but you have been to it before and sounds like you like it, so that's a good one for ya!

Le Cellier is awesome, YUM!

have fun!

Sounds good. My only thought was that you're doing Sci Fi the same day as 50's PTC. For me, personally, this would be too much food. (Do I sound harsh? Sorry if I do).

Enjoy the rest. I am very curious to try Alfredo's so I'll be looking for your review.

We ate at Fulton's once. It was ok. But that was in 1998 I think. Maybe it's gotten better? Have fun!!!!

dinner: LTT :thumbsup2 We had a great time there.

lunch: Sci-Fi Dine In (burger and milkshakes!)

Just stick to those items and you'll be okay.

dinner: 50's PT

Excellent choice. The best themed dining experience at WDW!

dinner: Fulton's Crab House (hate seafood, will get chicken, but DBF loves the crab claws and creme brulee)

It's okay, but I wouldn't make a special trip there, even though we love crab.

lunch: Teppanyaki :smooth: A pretty good place, but there are far better choices elsewhere around the World Showcase lagoon.

dinner: Alfredo's (never a bad experience yet, knock on wood)

If you say so. It's the one place I've never been, and everyone else has done a very effective job convincing me it should stay that way.

breakfast: Donald's Breakfastosaurus (this enables us to get in the park early and head to EE!)

I've never been there.

lunch: Flame Tree or Tusker House :thumbsup2 Either one is very good. Tusker House is marginally better.

dinner: Hoop-Dee-Doo!

The show is not my cup-of-tea, so I don't recommend it.

dinner: Portobello Yacht Club (first time trying this - good/bad?)
icon14.gif
We loved our dinner there a few years ago. The food and service were great.

lunch: CRT (yes, I know I paid a lot!) :goodvibes I hope you enjoy it!

dinner: Tony's (a controversial one, I know)

It is okay. We've had good meals there. Some people, I think, just get upset about having paid so much.

breakfast: 1900 Park Fare
icon3.gif
Looked good to me, but I haven't actually had breakfast there.

dinner: Le Cellier
icon13.gif
This place is far overrated IMHO. I had dry, gristly steaks twice there. And it is really very cramped.

dinner: Concourse Steakhouse
icon4.gif
The food is good, but the location isn't, IMHO. Too much noise coming in from outside, for a fine restaurant.

dinner: Hollywood & Vine on FDP (if anyone will be cancelling MM on this date for the FDP, please PM me! We'd really prefer MM but had to settle for H&V since it's booked! TIA!)

I've never done H&V.

Thanks everyone!

As for Fulton's-I just get the roasted chicken, I mean, it's hard to screw up that. As for the seafood, I have no idea what it's like but DBF loves it, so I can't take that away from him.

I've never been to 1900 for breakfast, just for dinner, so this should be a new one.

It's good to hear good things about Portobello's. We're looking forward to this one.

HDDR we couldn't go without it! We love it! We have tons of fun!

The Sci-Fi and 50's Prime Time are 7 hours apart, so I think (hopefully) we'll be hungry in 7 hours. :thumbsup2

LeCellier we love too. I don't think I could drag DBF away from that place. He'd be really upset if I crossed that one off the list. Plus, I had the most awesome filet mignon there.

As for Alfredo's-everyone has their own opinion. Unfortunately, most people on the DIS boards don't like it. However, we've been very fortunate to have both awesome meals and awesome service there. Let's hope it continues!

I'll be sure to post reviews when I get back. Thanks again for the input! :teeth:

I was going to ask how far apart the ADR's were. Yeah, from all that walking around in MGM, you'll be ready for 50's PTC! Have a great trip!!!

Nothing against Fulton's specifically, as I've never had chicken there, but actually it is pretty easy to screw up roasted chicken. I cannot tell you how often I order chicken at a restaurant and it is dry as dust. By comparison, it would take a complete incompetent to screw up steak.

I've gotten the roasted chicken there two years in a row now and both times it has been moist and flavorful. So that's definitely good. Especially since it's one of the only things on the menu I eat. So far I haven't any "dry as dust" chicken yet in Disney. :thumbsup2 Let's keep it that way! :)

Yes. One is at 12:10pm and the other is at 7:10pm. Maybe it's even long enough to get an ice cream somewhere in there.
