ADRs without my trip booked yet?

Hello! Is it possible to make my dining reservations without my trip being booked? I realize I have to enter my credit card when I use the online system or phone. So say if we decide not to go I will cancel my ADRs and not be charged the penalty? Thanks for any help!

Yes you can. The only thing you can't do is take advantage of the 180+10 benefit.

You can make ADR's, but only 180 days in advance of each day. Therefore, you will only be able to make 1 day at a time. If you end up not going on your trip, you will need to cancel your ADR's or you will lose any $ for the pre-payment or the CC guarantee.

The only restaurants that require a credit card hold are the signatures and the character meals.
