Hi All,

What is the max ADRs you would make per day? Is making 2 table service reservations a day crazy? I don't want to feel super rushed all day. Say we do Breakfast and Dinner table service and quick service lunch?

Thanks!!

Just keep in mind that you're committing to roughly 3 hours at TS alone with 2 TS meals, and that's assuming you're seated promptly.

Most people who do the DxDDP, do some combo of late breakfast/early lunch and then do a signature meal for dinner, and fill in with snacks if they get hungry in between.

If you eat a QS meal for 1/3 of your credits, you'll likely be losing money.

We do a minimum of 2 TS every day, sometimes 3.

I know most people think that's too much...but we do have to eat, so it might as well be a good experience. No skipping or combining meals allowed, per DH. He needs 3 full meals a day!

QS isn't always very fast either, if there are long lines. And if we didn't get the breaks at our meals, we would just need to take other breaks later. So I don't feel like it's wastes THAT much time. And the meals are something we look forward to anyway.

We have found a late breakfast/brunch and an early dinner (filled in with snacks) is awesome!!!! Gives us some respite from the heat and rest for our feet too :) and we enjoy the nice restaurants.

This will be our first time going deluxe so we wonder too. So far we have early lunch and late dinner most days. Planned snacks for breakfast. 6 nights so we did 6 signatures and 6 regular ts. Waiting to see how rivers of light or the star wars dessert party will change things...

We usually have 2-3 TS credits we use on any given day. We use snacks when we need to fill the gaps. We've always done Deluxe dining and wouldn't go any other way. It works for us. We like to go out and eat a nice dinner and the Deluxe plan allows us to do that without having to worry about things too much.

We always do deluxe dining, and we usually do either a late breakfast buffet and a signature dinner, or an early lunch TS and a later signature dinner. Sometimes, like when we got to HS, we do two signatures, as my hubby doesn't really like 50's, Si-Fi, or Mama's, so we will do HBD for lunch, and a sigg for dinner. We compensate by eating somewhere like Ohana for dinner another night. It's the two us, hubby and I, and we love the down time that the meals allow us to relax and rest our feet. If I didn't have those built-in breaks, I would crash! We do supplement with snacks for breakfast or a snack or lunch depending on what TS we had that day. With the 2 snacks per day per person, it's plenty to get filled up with savory snacks as a quick meal and not pay out of pocket. Sometimes we will even do a TS breakfast like Kona Café that is fairly inexpensive and pay OOP for that, on days we do a later lunch then real late Sig Dinner. I can't see me wasting 1 credit each to do for a breakfast meal that will be around $30 OOP total, when I can use my credit to get apps and desserts at lunch. It's really all about how you tour. We've been quite a few times, so we aren't' so go-go-go commando style anymore. We really love a great meal, view meals as important parts of our vacations. Deluxe isn't for everyone, but if you are a foodie, then I think it's worth it.

We did pretty much what PPs have done: sat down twice a day for an early lunch and signature meals, and supplemented with the two snacks! I didn't really try to "maximize" on snacks (if that meant blowing two credits on a coffee and a slice of quickbread at Starbucks, so be it, it was fuel) but the signature dining made up for it. Plus it was really hot; we were super grateful for the chance to sit and relax a bit.

The first time we had DxDDP, we tried to do 3 table service per day. WAY WAY TOO MUCH FOOD and WAY WAY TOO MUCH TIME. The next year, we did early lunch and late signature dinner. When we were hungry in the morning, we had a snack credit breakfast pastry. I don't think we were ever hungry between lunch and dinner. We did that for the next several trips where we did DxDDP with great success.

On the DxDDP you have 3 dining credits per night so when we did the DxDDP we did a late breakfast/early lunch and then a two credit dinner. With an app, entree and dessert per person at most TS meals we had a lot of food and were rarely hungry between meals. On the one or two days we had three meals scheduled we found ourselves spending far too much time dining instead of enjoying the parks so we scaled back to only two meals a day. Choosing signature restaurants and other two credit experiences for one of the meals every day helped us use the dining credits.

I always book a TS lunch and Dinner. We use snacks credits for Breakfast. I don't feel rushed at all and most for the time we eat TS buffets which saves us lots of time, but we never feel rushed. The Character meals are part of the experience for my kids. Think of all the time you save having pictures taken at a meal instead of waiting in line at the park.:goodvibes

I'm hoping the Character Meals will do just that. Reduce our wait times spent in the park for characters! We are doing Chef Mickey, 1900 Park Fare, Disney Junior Play & Dine, Cape May, Tusker House, Crystal Palace, CRT, Akershus, and Garden Grill!!! :D

Those are all great picks, We had 1900 Park Fare for lunch once and it was the only place we were a little disappointed in. (but the Characters were fantastic) :thumbsup2

When we took DD4 last year, we ate at Akershus, Tusker House and Hollywood & Vine. We used FP+ for Anna & Elsa. We hopped in to see Tink and Rapunzel (she was with Cinderella last year) w/no waits after the MSEP. We waited in lines for Jasmine, Pocahontas and Merida. Overall, she met every princess but Tiana and Mulan and we waited 40 - 60 minutes total (Tiana wasn't meeting any time we checked :(). The meals definitely help! Next trip, we will make sure she meets Pluto, Minnie Mouse, Chip & Dale and, hopefully, Mulan & Tiana.

These are all buffets or fixed price venues (CRT, Akershus) so everyone will be charged credits including the two members of your group who have had gastric sleeve surgery (regardless of how little they eat). Just wanted to mention that because you asked about sharing meals on another thread.
