ADRs when parks close early ?

We may be coming back to WDW in February. The big change for us will be that the parks will close much earlier (8PM for MK when we're used to 11PM!).

Do the restaurants stay open after the attractions close ? If MGM closes at 7PM does that mean the latest ADR available will be 7PM ? That won't work for us at all, especially since Fantasmic is at 7 as well.

Same thing for MK, is it possibe for example, if Wishes it at 8PM and the park is closing at 8PM, to have an ADR at Liberty Tree for 8.30 ?

I can only speak for DLP:

If park closes at 8pm, you can get ADRs at the restaurants in the park until 7 pm. The restaurants at Main Street allow ADRs until 8 pm.
I don't know whether it'll be the same at WDW, but it seems logic to me, otherwise, they still loose time before they can start cleaning up/ doing things that guests are not supposed to see.

Nope. While you can get a reservation starting as close to ten minutes prior to park closing, they will not accept any reservations for park closing time or later. Same with walk-ins - if you can even get a table.

If you do get seated for dinner at a TS restaurant within the last half hour of park opening, do they tend to rush you through you meal, or can you take your time?

Thanks everyone for your help. Looks like we'll either have to eat very early or miss the shows
