I'm just thinking ahead a bit. Say we're in WDW and unable to make a ADR. What's the policy about cancelling a reservation? We won't have anything too fancy booked (Chef Mickey's, CRT, San Angel, etc.).

Hi,

For most restaurants, just call as soon as you know you won't be able to make it, so another family can take your spot, either by last minute ADR or by walk-up.

But for CRT (and a few others) there is a cancellation policy. Here are the details:

With a few exceptions (Victoria&Alberts, some character meals, Fantasmic Dinner Packages) think of ADRs as a dining fastpass.

If you don't show up, and you haven't given anyone a credit card number to save your time, then it doesn't matter.

Its simply a matter of courtesy, if you can cancel ahead of time. This frees up an ADR for someone else.
