ADR's prior to FD announcment

So would FD be announced prior to the 180 day mark? Prior to the 60 day mark?
If can I make a booking and have my FD applied? And how does this work with CRT where you prepay?
Finally I may have to cancel and rebook my resort stay as a split stay to apply FD-would this loose any ADR's I had made?

ADRs are stand alone reservations. They are not dependent upon FD or onsite room reservations.

At the 180 day mark, you should book reservations that you anticipate needing and pre-pay if necessary. Free dining credits are used when you are actually in the restaurant and having your meal.

So would then then refund the CRT prepayment? And how long would this take?

They will refund CRT. For me I think it took about a week or so for it to show up on my card.

Any chance that they would do a refund onto a gift card that we could use right away?
while we are in the US we use a foreign currency card to avoid fees but if they take a week to refund the money then it ties up money we want to be spending.

No. The refund takes a week or more to be processed. It is not instant and they will not put it on a gift card.
