I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but I thought I'd throw it out there. My husband decided last week he wanted to have dinner at Ohana on our upcoming trip in August. This was after I asked him 3 months ago if there was anywhere in particular he wanted to eat, and he responded, "Whatever." 
I called several times over the last few days to check availablity, and was told there was nothing. Well tonight I looked at the online booking and it showed there was an opening at a great time! Then, as I tried to sign in, the site wouldn't take my user name, so I called. The lady told me she had no openings at the time when I was looking at it on the screen. I created a new log in under my husband's name and was able to make the reservation. 
Lesson learned: if anyone is trying to get a specific ADR, make sure you try the online system and the phone, and keep trying, something may come open.
