ADRs on a cancelled resort reservation?

I'm thinking of cancelling and rebooking a resort reservation to get a better deal (UK site vs US site) - but what would happen to any ADRs linked to the original reservation?
Would they automatically be cancelled and I'd need to rebook? Or will they remain and I could call Disney and ask for them to be linked to the new resort reservation?

Any advice would be much appreciated, as we have key ADRs like Le Cellier which we don't want to lose!

They will not cancel, they will still be valid. I have done this many times!
That's great to know, thank you!

Have you called and linked them to the new reservation or just left them as is?

I just left them as is as I cancelled the resort reservation and booked something offsite. All was fine.
