It seems as though I am not skilled in making my ADR's. I always make ressies and then we never manage to make it to dinner. Whether it is because we are having to much fun to stop going on rides, or we needed a nap instead. Whatever the reason...We only make it to 50% or less of the dinners we actually schedule.
So the question is:
When is your favorite time to go to dinner? or
When is the best time to go?
:confused3

We usually do a very early breakfast and an early dinner. My kids (5, 8) can't handle being at the park/crowds for all that long so we hang at the parks until the complaining starts. Then we head back to the hotel for a nap/swim. We go for our dinner and hit the park again after for a couple of rides.

We usually do early breakfast before heading to the park or at the park before it opens. We have schedule our meals around 6-7pm. Since we head back to the hotel for nap around 1pm and they usually nap until 4, it gives us time to get a quick swim after nap and get ready for dinner. We then go back to park after our meal.

the other option is schedule lunch about an 1.5 hours before you would leave for nap.

You sound like someone who would be better off doing counter service vs. table service. That would give you the ultimate in flexibility.

I really prefer a dinner around 7. That usually gives us plenty of time to get back to the resort and nap before heading out for dinner. And, I usually pick a dinner location where we're likely to visit that evening. So, I might do CRT on a night I know I'll want to go back to MK. Or we might do Teppan Edo on a night I'm sure we'll want to see Illuminations.

If we do lunch, I like to do lunch around 1:30. That's usually a good stopping and resting time for us, after which we usually head back to the resort for our naps.

i definitely agree! Some nights I like to do a quick bite at night but mostly.....i get out-voted by the fiance. He is the ultimate foodie/chef. Soo....he loves the idea of sitting down for the big multi-course meal.

thanks everyone. I think we are going to shoot for 7/7:30 most nights. but this was helpful!:banana:

This is when I usually schedule ours for and it works out well. For our upcomig May trip the times range from 7:10pm-7:40pm.
