Hi all

I have recently booked my holiday for Aug 17th 2007 and I will be staying for 14 nights in Disney. I am on the free Dining Plan so I was wondering how far in advance I should start making reservations? I heard that due to the Dining Plan, places book up much quicker. Is a year too far in advance? I just don't want to miss out on so many good restaurants.

Thanks

The soonest you can make your ADRs is 180 days prior to arrival.

As Carol says, the earliest you can call is 180 days from arrival. But you'll actually be able to book 180+10 -- in other words, for your arrival date and the first ten days of your stay.

If you are planning any tough-to-get ressies (I think you mentioned CRT in another thread), you should call as early as possible. Over on the dining board, there's a whole thread with CRT booking strategies.

Although you can book 180+10, not every seat is included in the +10 availability. So if you don't get something in +10, you may very well get it when you call exactly at 180 days out from that particular date. I know that's a hassle calling from the UK, but certainly CRT, you're going to have to call exactly at 180 days to be successful.

Good luck and have a great trip!
