We went to Disney in August. We did the meal plan and had all of our ADRs planned MONTHS before the trip. Is that needed at Universal? We will be staying 4 nights (onsite) in March. I want to eat at Margarita-ville and Bubba Gumps FOR SURE. Do I need to make ADRs? If so, how early? Any other "must do" places to eat??? (my kids are DS11 and DD 9)

You can make reservations the day you arrive at the park if you want. There's a kiosk across from the theater at CityWalk...just stop in there. Plus...if you're staying onsite, you get priority seating.

Oh wow...that is great to know! Thanks! The "only" think I didn't like about the ADRs at Disney is I kind of felt like our days were driven by our meals...but it was WELL worth it b/c we got to eat where we wanted, but it will be nice to just go with the flow.... THANKS!

You are welcome. If you decide to make reservations at CityWalk for that day/night, here's the kiosk to look for:
