Hi -

Do you think it would be necessary to make ADRs for a solo diner on a trip during the Easter/spring break season? Should I just take my chances for seating? I want to keep my days open and not be locked into certain parks for dinner reservations, but I did get the dining plan. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

You sort of answered your own question with your statement that you want to keep your days open and not be locked into certain parks for dinner reservations. However . .

I would not recommend that during Easter/spring break. That can be a very busy time, with other solos also thinking they can get in easily without an ADR because they are "only one." If you want maximum stress but the freedom to not have to be anywhere at any particular time, go ahead and take your chances. If you put some pre-thought and planning into where you will want to be each day, you can avoid the stress by knowing you can dine at the locations you prefer. That is, if it isn't already too late (If you are talking about Easter/spring break of this year). Good luck! :earsgirl:

Only because I never know what the crowds may be and there are restaurants I want to dine at, I always make ADR's, even on a solo trip, but most especially during busier times of the year. This way I know I have a reservation at the restaurant I want to dine at, when I want to dine there. For me, I'd rather be safe than sorry.
