ADRs for Solo Trip Question

I'm going the first week of December on my first solo vacation ever (yes, I'm a wee bit nervous). Can I make ADR for more than one person? I have a friend that is actually working for Disney right now that might join me for a couple meals and I don't want to leave her out. Will they let me make reservations for 2 even though I'm going by myself to the World?

I’ve gone solo to WDW many times and I love it. You get to do what you want when you want. I have made a lot of one person ADRs and have never had a problem. You can also make a 2 person and then if your friend can’t go just show up and let them know it is only going to be you. Since you are only going from 2 to 1 it won’t change the table you are going to eat at anyway.

100% yes!!! You can book for 1 or 2 or more (your choice who and how many will join you).

On a side note - there are some restaurants that are great for solo diners - b/c of the visual sights:

People who live in the Orlando make reservations all the time. ADRs are available to anyone, whether they're staying at a Disney resort or not.

I do a solo trip at least once a year, sometimes more often. You've got nothing to worry about, and you'll have a great time!
