I know that if you are staying off site that you have to call each day of your vacation to make ADR's, but onsite guests can make them all at once for their week 90 days out. We currently are booked onsite but have just decided to stay off site. I haven't cancelled my booking onsite yet. How do they actually know you are staying on site? I remember last year when I made ADR's they just asked where I was staying, no reservation # or anything but I was already past the 180 day mark. If they do ask for a confirmation # I am thinking about holding on to my reservation until the 90 day mark to make all my ressies at once. Is this worth it and incredibly wrong to do?

I also see that to make reservations online in the new system it asks for a WDW reservation #. Is online reservations only going to be available to those staying onsite?

Maybe I should rethink this staying off site deal! We've ever only stayed onsite, but got an awesome off site deal!

We made our ADRs yesterday and one of the first things they ask for is your confirmation number for your on-site resort. Guess its up to you which you decide to do but knowing my luck, if I tried to make reservations with a number I am cancelling they would figure it out. I do remember that years ago our ADRs were cancelled automatically when we changed from on-site to off-site - not sure if the computer would link it together now and if you cancel would cancel your ADRs to.

Thank you for letting me know they asked for your ressie # and that you had reservations cancelled. It's not worth it to me to risk losing my reservations. I'll just call each day. We are going the second week of December so I hope it isn't an issue. Besides, now I can get back my $400 deposit now! Thanks!
