ADRs for 10

We are headed to WDW at the same time as another family we are friends with. We want to do some meals together. All together we are 10 people. Do we make separate ADRs and then ask to sit near each other once we are there? Or do we make one ADR for all 10 of us? Not sure which way would be easier as most restaurants could not seat 10 at one table anyway. But if we do it separate we have to make sure we get the same time. Any one else do this? Thanks

Making 1 ressie with the number of your party is the best way to go.

We had 12 last trip and all sat at the same table for both of our TS ADRs. Make it for 10, you'll have a much better chance of being near each other than if you make 2 smaller ressies. Even if they have to split you up, they'll know in advance that you're one big group and will try to save 2 tables close together for you.

If you are intending to all eat at the same table, your best shot is to make one reservation for 10 people. It's not guaranteed that you'll get the same table or even tables next to each other, but the odds are better than they would be if you book as separate parties.

I believe most restaurants CAN seat 10 persons at one table, they just won't guarantee it.

I have booked ADRs for 10 people many times and we were always seated together at one large, round table:

Thanks everyone for your responses. Is it better to make the ADRs on the phone or online or it doesn't matter? It just sounds like it would be so hard to get an ADR for 10. I know sometimes its hard to get an ADR for anyone but the big parties are more difficult aren't they?
