I'll be leaving in a few weeks for WDW. Party is myself, Mom and sister (all grown adults - although I'm just a big kid;) ) Going down to relax and take things at a slow pace. I'll do a couple parks. Mom and Sis will chill at the resort (they're not major park freaks)

I was wavering back & forth regarding whether to get the DxDP or reg. I worked the numbers several times and finally decided to get the DxDP. I calculated costs of the reg. plan (and any oop expenses), dx plan, and no plan (paying straight oop). It'll be a little pricey (I'm treating Mom and Sis), but in the end it works for me. We don't do this often and I'll get to try some places I haven't eaten before.

All three of us are foodies (Mom is a cook and has been her whole life. I hate to cook). We like apps and dessert with our entrees. We'll have the meal plan for 5 days. Here's what I have so far:

Breakfast: Kona Cafe and Olivias
Lunch: Turf Club (doing this on last day, right before we leave for
airport)
Dinner: Cape May Clam Bake
Narcoosees
Flying Fish
Spoodles

So far that's 9 credits each. I did a rough estimate of the cost for the 3 of us eating at these places and the total came to about $250 less than the cost of the DXDP. PLus We each still have 6 credits (will probably use for counter service) and snack credits and we'll get the refillable mugs. I think the Deluxe plan is working out great for us on paper. It'll be interesting to see how it actually works out.
