This is our first time visiting the World during the F&W Festival and we couldn't be more excited! DH and I are "foodies" and can't wait to eat around the world! Should I keep our ADRs at Epcot for the days we will be there or will the kiosk food be substantial enough for the 2.5 days we visit Epcot?

We just eat our way around the world and never bother with ADR's for the F&W Festival. More than enough food.

Last year we did F&W for 2 1/2 days and we ate two meals. An early lunch at Sunshine Seasons our first day that we kinda regretted when WS opened and a dinner at Rose & Crown our last night. We did not have an ADR we just walked up. We could have skipped that too and had some more offerings from the booths. Next time I go during F&W I will not make any ADRs and if we get tired of the booths and need a full meal we will get a CS meal or try a TS walk up again.

DH and I will be on the QSDP when we visit during F&W. I have made 3 ADRs for dinner but none of them are on our EPCOT days. We will have 36 snack credits to "spend" at F&W. Can't wait!!

Can DDP snack credits be used at the F&W booths or are the booths all oop? I also plan on getting QSDP to use for breakfast & a meal if the booths don't fill us up.
TIA!

We like to utilize the festival booths for brunch, then schedule late dinners at the restaurants. It seems to work well for us if we start snacking right when the World Showcase opens at 11am. We get to taste a few nibbles, then have a nice sit-down dinner around 8:30 or so.

For the last several years you could get any food item or non-alcoholic drink from the booths with a DDP snack credit. We will have to wait to see if this will be the same this year but I don't see them changing it. It is really a good value for snack credits and we used most of ours at the F&W booths.

DH and I always have a dinner reservation and use the F&W booths for lunch...it is costly because the items are 2 or 3 biters and if you share its even less than that but we dont care, we just like to go to F&W and save all year for it!

We were so full from noshing at the F & W kiosks that we ended up canceling most of our ADRs last trip. ;)

The booths are certainly substantial enough to satisfy all of your food needs, but a.) you may ge tired of that style of dining after 2.5 days, and b.) it can get mighty expensive to eat exclusively at the booths. Last time I went, one day we ate mostly booth food and at night, split a salad and personal size pizza at Via Napoli for dinner. (Oddly, the salad was really satisfying as eating all the booth food left us with serious veggie withdrawal). On the second day, we ate lunch sparingly at booths and had an ADR for dinner at a Signature.

Last year was our first time at F&WF and I went light on the dinner ADRs (2 nights out of 4). This year we're going back and are doing ADRs for every evening (late ones though, after 8 p.m. mostly). While I :lovestruc grazing the booths, by the end of the day it is nice to sit down for a meal vs. waiting in line and trying to find a place to park and eat.

When we go for Oct. Disney visit, we go strictly for F&W and the MNSSHP. We actually do 3 days at F&W kiosks. We divide the world into 3 sections and do 1 section each day for lunch. We (hubby and I) order 1 of each item at each booth and share - so we just get a taste of each item - great way to taste new things. It does fill us up enough so all we really want is a lite bite for dinner. If we have an extra day, we hit the booths that we really liked and get what we want. We usually don't do any other parks on this trip other than MK for MNSSHP.

This is how we usually manage as well. However, we do do one day where we have a CS lunch and just the booths for dinner. Since we are on the DDP as well, we use the extra TS from that night to do a Signature dinner on a non Epcot night. It works well for us.
