ADRs & Calendar for March

How are you supposed to book ADRs 180 days plus the length of your stay if they only post the calendars 6 months out? Doesn't this just make more work for rescheduling people that they might only need to deal with once?

I tried the PS Calculator, but it doesn't talk about the +10 and some say it is off by a day. We arrive Mar19. How soon can we book? March 9, March 10? Do all restaurants at DTD also book this far out? Can you book then through Disney or do you call them individually? Any better luck with tables and such one way or the other?

March hours should be released within the next few days. You will have park hours before your 180 day mark.

But be aware that the hours can change between now and March.

The +10 days ADR's is for the 10 days after you arrive so if you arrive March 19th can book for 19th thru 28th on the 180 day mark for March 19th.

It sounds like I misunderstood. I thought that you could essentially book all of your ADRs 190 days out if you were staying 10 days. Instead, it sounds like you can only book 10 days ahead from the 180 day mark (meaning that you don't need to call daily to add another ADR). Do I understand now? Thanks!

I think you've got it. If your first day is 3/1, your 180-day mark is tomorrow, and on that day, you can request ADRs for the 1st and up to 10 days beyond that---up to and including 3/11. So, you can get all your ADRs in a single call. You might find that you get stuck with some odd times---at very popular restaurants, only a few ADRs can be made "early" before the 180-day mark. For those few, call back at 180 days to see if you can do better.

How early can I call on the 180th day? Do they open at 8am Eastern? I figure I could call at 5am? Thanks!
