ADR's booked - but not convinced!

Managed to book the first batch of ADR's today for our trip in August but not 100% convinced.
It's just me, the wife and 2 daughters (4 and 6) and won't be doing Universal this trip. So..

Aug 17th - arrive late afternoon
Aug 18th - Yak and Yeti (Lunch) - eating CS at Mara in the evening
Aug 19th - 50's PTC (Dinner) - not sure but ate at Sci-Fi last time
Aug 20th - Kona Cafe (Dinner) - keep reading good reviews
Aug 21st - CRT (Breakfast) - Daughter's 7th B'day, Cinderella's No1 fan!
Aug 22nd - WCC (Dinner) - Skillet's got my name on it, the kids will either love it or hate it
Aug 23rd - Le Cellier (Lunch) - looks the best bet for us
Aug 24th - Sea World - CS at WGP Express in evening
Aug 25th - Grand Flor. Cafe (Dinner) - don't read many negatives
Aug 26th - Boatwright's (Dinner) - Relaxing evening at resort but not sure.
Aug 27th - Tony's Town Sq. (Dinner) - Kids liked it last time
Still to book
Aug 28th - Hoop-De-Doo - everyone had a great time last time
Aug 29th - The Wave (Lunch) - want to try something new and it looks good.
Aug 30th - Akershus (Dinner) - Have to spend last night with the Princesses!!!

Has anyone got any suggestions about possible alternatives or can reassure me about Tony's, 50's and Boatwright's.

All look good to me as for 50s PT my kids loved eating there although I didnt.

i like 50's for the interaction more than the food...
we always go there and i always tell them when i check in that i want an active server (because not all of the servers really get into it)...

my kids love it there when the server is 'on'....

the dinner menu is different from the lunch menu....
the only time i had dinner there was with my sister...
what i had was ok (the fish)....not great....not awful...
my sister had the fried chicken, which was fine (no way to ruin fried chicken)
but the server we had for dinner was outstanding - when i checked in i asked them to give me someone special (for my sister - who'd never been there)
well they did....she was really great and my sister had a fabulous time...

oh...and if you eat here - you MUST order a milkshake.....
i pretty much go there just for the chocolate milk shake...
the best shake on planet earth...in fact, no trip to WDW is complete without a chocolate milk shake from the 50's prime time cafe....

and if you're on the dining plan - you can order the milk shake plus another drink because the milk shake isn't unlimited....
so they give you both the milk shake and an unlimited drink (e.g. coke)..

plus of course you also get dessert (in other words, the milk shake doesn't count as dessert)..

so you get two drinks included on the dining plan if you order a milk shake...

thanks for the replies. It is really the interaction I booked 50's for. I think the kids will enjoy me getting told to behave for a change! I better just make sure I don't fill up on milkshake!

so when you check in, tell the person at the podium that you'd very much like an active server...
otherwise, it will just be a waitress - no fun in that!!

my sister didn't finish her meal and then wanted to order dessert...
well....the server said, "i'm telling mom on you"...
and out came the hostess to scold my sister and then force feed her...
"mom" wouldn't let my sister order any dessert until she'd had one more bite of food - which "mom" fed to her (like the little plane flying into the hanger)..

my sister was laughing hysterically by the end of it..


but not all the servers will do that....so you really need to let them know you're looking for the interactive experience...
