ADR's at Kona Sushi Bar?

We have plans to eat at the Kona sushi bar the first night of our stay. I made an ADR for Kona but there was no designation to choose either the restaurant or sushi bar. Is there a way to insure that the ADR is for the sushi bar and not the restaurant?

Pretty sure you don't make ressies for just the sushi bar.
It is first come first serve type seating. Basically you just walk up.

Not sure if you are familar but the sushi bar is VERY small. It's about 5-6 high top chairs at a display case...type thing. It is not like a restaurant.

I'm pretty sure also, that if you eat at Kona, you can also get anything on the sushi bar menu at Kona.

Just confirming: This is true, although there are more seats with a small counter against the windows facing out toward the monorail.

I'm pretty sure also, that if you eat at Kona, you can also get anything on the sushi bar menu at Kona.

If you want to just eat at the Sushi Bar or the tables at the window next to it that face the Polynesian Monorail station, those don't accept ADR's and are first come, first serve. So if all the chairs are taken it's best to wait over there until some guests leave and sit down once they are gone.

However since you already made an ADR for the Kona Cafe besides their dinner menu you will also get to order off their Sushi menu, so you don't need to worry about sitting at the Sushi Bar.

I don't think the sushi bar takes the dining plan, so no.

But I do not know if you order sushi while dining at Kona if the plan would cover that. ????

Others have reported when ordering Sushi at the Sushi Bar they accept a Table Service credit if your on the Disney Dining Plan.

I have used a table service credit at the bar. This was in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
