ADRs at DLR

This is my first trip to Disneyland. I am a WDW veteran so I'm used to their ADR necessities. I do know that it's only a 60 day lead time on the left coast. Which places NEED ADRs? I know I want to go to Cafe Orleans. Just not sure about the rest. Are walk ins easy? I'm part of an ABD group so I wan a fair amount of flexibility.

ADRs are definitely more relaxed at the DLR. that being said, it looks like your ticker says you will be there during summer. It is expected to be very, very busy this summer with Carsland and BVS opening. I know the Carthay Circle Theater is very busy and I would book as soon as I could for that. I would also book as soon as I could for Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans. Napa Rose Chef's Counter has been busy as well, I have been calling for some various dates in July and they are not completely full, but they are filling steadily.

For summer, I like to be booked a month out, but I have also called the week before to change things up and had no problem. I also have changed things a day or so before and while I didn't get my preferred time, I was able to book. However, I did make my CCT ressie at 60 days out just because it is new and very popular. Have fun!

FWIW...I booked last night (6/5/12) for Blue Bayou lunch through the email system and had now problem getting 6/17/12 which kind of surprised me because that is Father's day.
