ADRs and tube fed child

Our son is tube fed and will not be eating at restaurants. I have include him in making ADRs but i'm wondering if we will be charged at buffets or a cancellation fee if he doesn't eat. Anyone have experience with this? We also have F! Dining ADR and expect to be charged for him at this restaurant.

For buffets, most people have posted they were changed upfront.
The server does have some ability to waive the charge for guests who are not eating.

When we dined at ohana in May both of my kids were asleep in the stroller. One was 1 so he was going to be a no charge anyway. My daughter 3, was also asleep. I actually found the ticket in my Disney folder the other day. She was listed as a child, but the total was zero. My son was listed as an infant no charge. I know this is not the same situation but just letting you know that they can not charge (atleast at ohana)

I would expect to be charged if the buffets you are doing are character meals. If not, it wouldnt hurt to ask but I'd still plan on being charged for monetary purposes. There's no cancellation fee for not eating.
