I have 2 questions.....i have several adr's made for 6 people, one of the six is my 2 yo son.My question is how does this work with regards to the tip.I know parties of 6 or more are automatically charged on their bill, but what happens in this case?Is he counted as he will be eating from our plates?

The other question is that my party of 6 includes my parents who will want a separate bill-or should i say i want them to have a separate bill so they do not always pay for the whole thing....is this even possible?

Thanks in advance.

they count bodies not eaters. Infants can make a party 6. They can split the check for you but the tip will still be auto-added.

For dining reservations, count the entire party. Infants and people paying separately are still part of the dining party.

When you're at the restaurant, the server can split the bill in any manner you please. It's often helpful to the server to let them know how the bill will be split when you first sit down (or as you start ordering stuff) as well.
