Adrs and rooms??

Do you have to have a room and tickets to make adr's? Or can you add them once you make the room reservations?
I can't make my room/package reservations just yet unfortunately because I'm waiting on my discount card with work to come in (approx. last week in April) to decide where I'm going to stay based off what discount I will get. So I'm worried I won't get the reservations I want this trip, I'd be traveling sept 14th-21st so my 180 mark is come near. What is the likelyhood of getting reservation that time of year this is the first time making adr and going in the fall. Tia

I think all you need is a Disney account to make reservations...

I got a head start on my ADRs before I booked either.

I would book it now but I don't know that with the discount that I would get they could change it when I got my card :/

I would start making your reservations. The only thing is you can only make reservations 180 days in advance you won't have the +10 option to make them for your whole stay. Once you make those reservations save the confirmation numbers that you receive and once you make the resort reservations you can link them to that. Also if you are planning on using the dining plan and plan on getting an ADR for any of the shows or CRT you will have to pay for them in full but I think you could prolly get reimbursed once you make your resort reservation.

You can always link your tickets and room reservations later with your account!

I had an account from last year's trip and started my ADRs before I booked this year's - made a bunch of ADRs based on which weeks I'd likely go. When I booked my hotel and tickets, I just cancelled the reservations for the week I wouldn't be there. Then I linked my hotel and park tickets to my account. Now everything shows up no problem.

I can't use the dining plan with ap tickets correct? That's something else in waiting on for discounts.
