ADR's and not staying on property?

How does this work? How do they know your 180 days? Can you even make ADR if not staying on property?

Never stayed off prop and am getting nervous about the decision to do so. . Thanks for your help!

This is our first year staying off property as well; I've had no problem making reservations for our trip in June I only had to actually call Disney dining to book a tea at the Grand Floridian, but i was able to do the rest online or via the my Disney experience app. As long as it's within 180 days I shouldn't think it would be a problem. I just make sure I have the confirmation numbers w/ me when I go the restaurant in case of a computer glitch. Hope this helps!

Anyone, no matter where they stay, even if they are WDW locals who live in Orlando, can make ADRs if it is at least 180 days from the day you want to dine. There is no reason to confirm where anyone stays or lives at that point.

What you can't do offsite is access the 180 + 10 so that you can make all your reservations up to 10 days at the 180 day mark from the first day of your stay.

We stayed off property last year and had no problems making ADR's. We made all our reservations online about 120 days before with no issues.
