ADR's and 10+ day question

Our ADR booking starts soon - can I book my first one 180 days before our arrival date even if we are not planning a TS that first day? (arrive late) or is it 180 days from our first TS meal - ie will we have to wait till the day after?

Also we are staying for 14 nights, so I ring to book the first 10 days and then 4 days later I can book the rest or do I have to wait till exactly 180 days again?

It's 180 days from check in. I've been told days 11-14 can be booked over the next 4 days, but someone on here said you have to wait until 180 days again.

You can book your first 10 meals 180 days out from your check-in date. Then the next day, you can book meal 11, the day after that meal 12, etc. No need to wait until 180 days away for those last 4 meals.

I didn't think it went by meals, I thought it was by days..

Like if you want to plan 3 Ts's every day for 10 days you could.. I haven't stayed for more than 8 so I could be wrong!

Yes the OP is staying for 14 days. At 180 days they can only book the first 10 days and would need to wait another day to book day 11 (not necessarily meal 11), etc.

I am having problems doing the ADRs past day 10...I was at 180 yesterday and made ADRs for the first ten days then. This morning I thought I could make ADRs for day 11 but the on-line system will not allow it. I asked my TA and was told I have to now wait until 180 days til the next day of dining and that just is not someting my head can figure...it seems that I should now be able to make day 11's ADRS becasue it is not 180 plus tem from the second day of my trip...which beings us to day 11 of ADRs...nut so far I can't...
