180+10. So once your first day of your trip opens you can make all your dining reservations for a continuous single reservation (doesn't work across split stays like FP selections do), up to 10 days. It also opens online at 6 AM eastern time.

If you do have a split stay and it's DVC to DVC, MS can actually take care of your dining reservations for you as if you had a continuous stay, but the bad part is you have to call in, thus wait until they open.

So its 180 days before day 1, and out 10 days from day 1? So, not 190 days from day 1. Meaning having a resort reservation is of no benefit for ADRs like it is fast passes?
I cant book an ADR for the 1st day of my stay any earlier than some random person with no confirmed reservations at all?

Well it's similar to FP, you book your first day out 180 days and everyday of your continuous reservation out 180 days from your first day, up to 10 days in total. Just how a FP is booked 60 days out from your first day and all days on a continuous reservation are made the same day. The only difference is the FP system recognizes split stays but the dining system does not, and you are right FP does get you 60 days as opposed to 30 days for offsite. But dinning isn't usually as difficult as FP to obtain.

180 days is from today is 4/18.
I can make an ARD.
Joe Schmo with no reservation can make one as well? I have zero advantage on day 1? My advantage for having a reservation is on days 2-10? (if that is what it is, thats fine, just trying to understand)
Or are you saying I could have started making them for 4/18 10 days ago? (to me, that is the equivalent of the fast pass advantage - as I can book all my fast passes for my entire stay before a non hotel guest can book any)

Resort reservations have an advantage over nor resort guests. 60 days vs 30.

Bottom line. 180 days from today is 4/18. I have a resort reservation for it. Today is the first day I can book, or 10 days ago?

Correct no advantage on day 1, but your advantage is on days 2-10. Sorry for not being very clear on that issue. So yeah FP does have a better advantage (which is more needed probably) over ADR, but mechanically they function similarly (i.e. when your first day opens you make all of them at once).
