ADR with or without Reservation #

Wondering about having ADRs without associating a reservation number with it. I have a few that I made online that I did not put in a reservation number. Not sure if that is an issue or not?

Also have some ADRs associated with a reservation number. Does anyone know if the reservation number changes does that do anything to your ADRs?

There are only two reasons for which a resort reservation number MUST be associated with a restaurant reservation.

The first is 180 + 10 booking for Disney resort guests. The second is for guests on the dining plan to book a prepaid reservation (applies only to CRT or the three dinner shows) without having to pay in full at the time of booking.

If you don't fit either of these categories it is not necessary to have your resort and restaurant reservations linked.

The ADRs are for April so we are well within the 180 day mark so assuming that criteria doesn't apply to me at this point.
