ADR Update coming

That sounds like more trouble. It seems every "update" to the system causes new problems.
Hoping this doesn't roll out until after I get my ADRs.

I think this sounds like a big improvement. I've always wished I could select a day and just see what is available instead of having to switch between times. I hope this roll out doesn't mess anything up though as my dining reservation day is Saturday.

You are assuming it will actually work. So far, their track record for improving IT has not been good. They eventually get there, but take far longer and a bumpy ride to get there.

I'm actually not assuming it will work. If it does, then it sounds great. But I am actually concerned that this could mess up my reservation day on Saturday lol.

That's my concern. Our 60 day window opens next week. Hoping for the best.

It has happened - if you open the dining availability and click on either Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner - you will see all the restaurants and what time is available during the meal period. If you click on the specific time then you will get what is available around that time.

I did my ADRs yesterday. While I was able to get everything that I wanted, it was difficult and time consuming. I would log in to my MDE using my PC and not the phone app. It would only show 60 days out not the 60 days +. I had to log out and log in again. Same thing after every reservation I made.

That’s the same as it’s been. A general search for your meal period, click a place and get what is around your time.

The update is supposed to show all available times for a specific restaurant instead of just what’s available around your time. Such an update has not rolled out on my mobile browser or iOS.

My app has not updated yet. I am still seeing just 3 choices per restaurant. The screenshot I saw of the new functionality showed 3 choices plus “+15” more for example. My understanding next app update will do this. Have not checked the website.

It was scary this morning. with the new software running, I wasn't sure what would happen. For our trip in October, 8 ADR's all completed in under 15 minutes! Other than a few restaurants closed on days I was looking for, no issues at all with the update. Not quite as easy as it used to be to look up a specific restaurant, but no bugs that I found.

I don't think it's pushed to WDW yet - it isn't for me at least. I know Disney is starting with DLR. I am really pumped for the update as I think it's way too hard to find times for ADRs.

It's been a while since I had logged on and it looked different than last fall. Not as easy to search for the restaurant you are looking for. My screen, I picked the date and it showed what was available for that day. I could switch days as well.

It's not new. Maybe new since fall but not the new system they've announced. Just new to you
