I am calling this week for my ADR for the castle :woohoo: , and I thought I remember that there are breakfast reservations available before MK opens. Is this accurate? How early do they start? :hourglass

Also, I feel like I am slacking :sad1: .....my kids have never been to Disney (they will be 6.5 & 2 when we go) and I have not been to MK in 25 years! We are getting 5 day hopper tickets. I am only planning on one ADR for Cinderella's castle & a trip to the BBB for my daughter. The trip is mainly for her to enjoy Disney before she gets to big to enjoy the magic & believe the princesses are real, KWIM? So we really think we will spend a lot of time in the parks and not so much time wanting to sit down at every meal. Especially with my active 2 year old! Tell me I'm not the only one not making ADR's for all the meals!!!

You are not the only one! For us, the restaurants are like attractions. We aren't snackers; we never eat mickey bars or turkey legs, we enjoy a nice meal at an adorable restaurant. Sometimes we just eat a salad and a glass of wine, but we enjoy the themes.

About the castle breakfast; the first seating may vary with park opening times, and this may be old info, but it used to start about an hour before the park opened. We'd get let in before anyone else; it was cool! Maybe someone else has more current info. We haven't gone since the kids were little (and it was easy to get!!!!)

My Dh would like to marry you! He hates all the reservations I make!

I think the breakfasts start at 700 in the AM at MK- Cindy and CP that is.

You won't regret taking her at 6! It was very magical because DD was awestruck when she was 6. I am kind of sad because she is 8 now and while I think she will have fun, I think they will be more "people in costume" this time.

I think you have the right idea about not sitting down to meals alot. DS did not eat well when he was there and 2 years old. He never eats well though. I felt like I was wasting so much money. That is why I decided to do free dining this trip so I don't freak out about how much his non eating is costing!

You are not alone!! I have 2 ADRs for our six day trip. (one more than I had last trip) I just like to be really flexible while we are at the parks, and not planning what we do around our ADR time. Just me. I am a master scheduler by nature in my every day life, so my vacation to Disney is my vacation from having to be anywhere at any certain time!!! :thumbsup2
Hope you have a great trip...

You are not the only one. I have 5 ADRs for 10 days. Four of them are for character breakfast and only 1 is for dinner. The Fantasmic package dinner. We plan on winging it for the rest of the meals. My DH hates to be on a set schedule and you really can't plan when everyone is going to be hungry or need a rest. So I think it's fine, but I'm sure most people will disagree on DIS. :goodvibes
