So we think we have our ADR's all set for our first trip in June and had a couple questions. We'll be there 10 days staying 1st half onsite (AoA) and 2nd half at Disney Springs with 6 park days no ph. Group of 3, dw, myself and dd who will be turning 3 at end of trip. So far our ADR's are:
Day 1 - Sanaa early dinner
Day 2 - Beaches and Cream Lunch
Day 3 - 1st park day MK Crystal Palace breakfast
Day 4 - AK, Tusker House dinner ROL
Day 5 - no park, Chef Monkey's brunch
Day 6 - Epcot, no ADR (dining around world)
Day 7 - HS, 50's Prime Time for dinner
Day 8,9 no ADR playing park by ear
Day 10 - MK, Day 2 BOG lunch

So we had a few questions. First, how is Sanaa with a child? dd is pretty adventurous eater, and doesn't eat much anyways, so more about atmosphere and food quality for dw and I. We chose this over mickey's bbq on our arrival day, but are open to thoughts/possibly changing it. 2nd, so I made 2 CP ADR and am deciding which to keep. 8am or 10:30? If the park opens at 9am that day will we be able to get enough done before 1030 and crowds, heat etc. We'll probably head back to room in early afternoon. If we keep the 8am and MK stays with 9am opening will we be rushed to see welcome show? Lastly, our 50's ADR is at 7:30 does that leave enough time to eat and go to fantasmic? We were planning to do morning at park and an extra long rest that afternoon so we can make fantasmic. Would we be better off cancelling 50's, getting something else in park or near DSprings then going to fantasmic?
Sorry about the long post, you all are awesome, thanks!

Granted we had breakfast at Sanaa, but it was very child friendly!

So we had a few questions. 1. How is Sanaa with a child? 2. I made 2 CP ADR and am deciding which to keep. 8am or 10:30?

1. Sanaa with a child is fine IMO. When husband and I went there were tons of kids in the restaurant and it was noisy (not in a bad way - but in a way you appreciate if you have kids with you and don't want a "quiet" restaurant). Menu is quite tame - very toned down from authentic Indian and African food imo (which was a bit disappointing but I know they have to cater to many palates). With your daughter being an adventurous eater I wouldn't hesitate to eat there. It was very good. Even non-adventurous kids could find something on the menu.

2. I would keep the 10:30 CP reservation. Park hours change very last minute and you could end up sitting in a restaurant instead of taking advantage of rides if the opening moves to 8:00. I am "done" with PPO meals lol! I think it is more relaxing to get a quick breakfast at the resort, head to the park for RD whether that is 8:00 or 9:00 opening, take advantage of an emptier park and then enjoy a mid-morning break for late breakfast/early lunch at a restaurant.

I agree with PP, keep the 10:30 CP. PPO at CP doesn't give you an advantage for any of the headliners anyways. Take advantage of RD and enjoy a later breakfast.

Thanks! I think we'll keep the 10:30 CP. How long should I expect dining at CP to take if my daughter wants to meet all the characters?
