I am glad I saw this! I actually just did all my reservations for our trip 2/15-2/19!!!

I see where the new ADR might roll out this week. I haven't been keeping up much with this but is this the thing we were talking about a few months ago where we will now be able to make our ADRs online?

Will WDW-DINE still be open or will everything be online?

It sounds to me like you still need to call WDW-DINE. I plan on calling on the 26th. Hope it works. Good Luck to you - hope you get everything you're looking for. :goodvibes

According to the Dis Site Updates, it's now not going to be until early December!

NEW DINING RESERVATION SYSTEM IN THE WORKS

Disney will begin implementing a new reservation system that combines dining, recreation and tour bookings.

The conversion will start on July 21, 2008 and is expected to be functioning early December. While this is taking place, the latest dining reservation date which can be booked in advance is March 22, 2009**. Once the new system is operating, it will revert to the 180 day Advance Dining Reservation window.

The exceptions to the shortened ADR booking window are Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey's and Victoria & Albert's.

** - While the official source states that ADR's can now be booked thru March 22, 2009, we are getting conflicting reports from calls to Disney Dining. It appears this may not go into effect until October 26.

Yippeee! Can't wait to call on Sunday!!!! Oh wait, do they take ressies on weekends or are we supposed to call on Monday?

Can anyone confirm it is the 26th for sure?????????!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Disney Dine! I've been checking this thread every day waiting for you! Really appreciate it. :)

Funny thing is, I've had my ADRs all worked out, but now that I will actually be able to make them (Mar 1-7), I'm second guessing myself! I already have CM and CRT, so only was going to add WC and date night w/DH at Tutto Italia. Our kids are 6, so we are limiting TS meals. But now I'm thinking I might throw Sci Fi in there. We're planning on TRex too. It's all become "real" now...decisions, decisions...

If it makes you feel any better I take these reservations for others every day & still can never make up my own mind about where to eat when I go with my family. I have notes all over the place right now and I keep changing my mind on stuff too. Everytime I help a guest with a res I think hmmm... should I eat there next trip??? LOL!!!

So bad news is that I'll now have to wait till December sometime to make most of my ADR's (our trip is May 2-8).
But, at least there won't be AS huge a number of people calling as we feared would be on 11/21 since they're opening up ADR's through late March soon.

A little longer wait (Hopefully!! I hope it doesn't get delayed even longer!) but hopefully it will be easier to get through.

I'm relieved, too (after I figured it all out). We're going Apr. 25-May 3rd and I hope they open up those dates soon, too... just to take the stress off what's bound to be a huge problem getting through.

Has it been decided when we can make our adr's for our March 2009 trip yet?

I merged this into the ADR thread on the main board so you get updates. Depending on when you are going in March, October 26th. (They are opening the ADR's up to March 22 on the 26th) The rest of the system will be up in December.

How did that work? My first day at WDW isn't until May 4th...and my 180 days isn't until Nov. 4....I don't understand how they can be taking ressies through May 29th when that is out of the 180 days....:confused3

180 days is actually November 5th isn't it?

We're going May 2nd and I was told I could call on Nov. 3rd to make reservations. Was I given bogus info?

I want to know if they are going to stagger the reservations system when it does go online. Can you imagine what's going to happen if 3 months worth of people start calling all on the same day for ADR's.... meltdown:scared1:

As far as we know, nothing has changed and they plan to let three months of people make their reservations all at once. Like I said in the first post - discuss amongst yourselves as to whether Disney is crazy or not. :rotfl:

Even though your window would be early November, it looks like your window wouldn't open up until late December at the earliest.

Hopefully, when it finally goes live, it won't crash. I keep telling myself that that's why they need the extra time.

were going march 21st - 28th. So imma have to call on the 26th to make my reservations for the first 2 days, and then call again for the rest of my trip!!! This is so confusing. Is that when you can book Character meals too??? :yay:
