Hi there! I'm headed to WDW 4/21-4/30, so my ADR window opens this Saturday. Yay!! Tomorrow marks nine weeks! I can't believe it. :-) My husband and I haven't been in almost five years, so haven't had to wake up for 6am ADRs in a while. I'd welcome your advice on which reservations to book first based on difficulty. Here's what we're planning:

Breakfast
Ale & Compass

Lunch
Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen
Tiffin's
Yak & Yeti
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop

Dinner
Rose & Crown
California Grill
Sanaa
The Wave
Hollywood Brown Derby
Coral Reef
bluezoo

We'll also be joined by my Dad and Mom for some of these, so it'll be Party of 2 for some and then Party of 4 for others. They're already linked as part of my party in MDE.

Thank you!!

The hardest to get will likely be:
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop
California Grill
Sanaa

Do those first and I don't think you'll have a problem with the rest. Good luck!

Rose & Crown may not be open as they are doing a refurb "through early spring".

I'd add Trattoria al Forno for a breakfast option - it's probably the best breakfast on property.

Thank you! I've definitely heard California Grill has been difficult, so will start with that. We're staying at AKV, so can be flexible with Sanaa, which is good.

I heard about R&C. :-( My thinking is I'll book it, just in case, and if they're still closed I'll have a free night to do QS or EP World Showcase.

I've also heard good things about Trattoria al Forno, and was torn between that and Ale & Compass. Perhaps I'll reconsider and switch those two.

I believe R&C is scheduled to open by end of March.

Hopefully!

Slightly OT...but if I have three reservations, can I not book all ten days at once? I have two at AKV and one at BWV. All are through DVC rental. TIA!

Unfortunately, the system sees them as separate resort reservations. So you will have multiple booking windows - 60 days out from checkin #1 you can book through day of checkout #1; 60 days from checkin #2 you can book through checkout #2; and 60 days from checkin #3 you can book through checkout #3. Sorry!

DVC members used to be able to call MS to book ADRs through a split stay, but that privilege didn't come back when the resorts reopened.

As I feared! Thank you. Glad I knew this before tomorrow morning, hahaha.

Is the food at Rose and Crown the reason for it's popularity or it's view for Illuminations?
With the new show that looks to be forward facing, will the demand for Rose and Crown remain?
