My 90 day mark is fast approaching! It's this Monday and I am still making my plans, lol.

When I call should I -

A. jump around with the dates and choose what I think are the most difficult to get ADR's first.

or

B. start with the first date and go in order.

I'm not sure if jumping around with the dates slows things down and makes it worthwhile.

Since others will have already made ADR's with the 10+ rule on the day I start, is it likely that even if I call on the 90th day, things are already completely booked?

Thanks for the advice! :)

Do the hard to get ones first. If you want Le Cellier, start with that. That one is harder to get than even CRT. Do CRT second if you want it (unless it's more important to you than Le Cellier). The other hard to gets you might want to put ahead on the list would be Chef Mickey's, Ohana and possibly Coral Reef or California Grill. If you want a Fantasmic package, make sure you try that among the first ones.

I always book the restuarants that I know are hard to get first, like CRT, Le Cellar. I will ask for the days I have booked to go to them and if those days aren't available I will go to my second possible day, etc until I get those, then I will rework my plan while on the phone with the CM and do the rest of my days. I don't think it really takes that much longer then going day to day in order. What I care about is getting those restaurants!

I totally agree with the PP's. Make a list in the order of importance and start there. Have alternate dates available just in case you can't get your first choice.

Good luck! :thumbsup2

Okay, I've made my list in the order that I think would be the most difficult.

Here's the order I've come up with.

Crystal Palace dinner
Tusker House Donald’s Safari Breakfast
Ohana dinner
1900 Park Faire dinner
Sci-Fi lunch
Chefs de France lunch
Tusker House dinner
Marrakesh dinner
Plaza lunch

These are all new places for us except for the Crystal Palace. There would be a family riot if there was no Crystal Palace on the agenda. :rotfl2: We always return to the same places that we have been going to for years. This year, we talked about it and decided to try new restaurants. I hope it is a good idea, since it was mine. :worship:

Looks good, I think I would move Tusker House dinner up one, Chefs isn't very difficult for lunch. My personal opinion on Marrakesh, food is terible, very bland, I know you didn't ask for opinions but we were so disappointed with that meal I just had to mention it!
Good luck with your adrs!

Chefs has been a little more difficult to get for lunch since the Remy thing. If your trip is after September 5 that won't matter though.

I had originally planned to do dinner at Chefs but changed to lunch for Remy.

I wish that they had Remy also at dinnertime, but I will work with what they have. :thumbsup2

As for Marrakesh, I went back and forth but it got mostly good reviews. Two of our four only like bland food anyway, lol, so I think it will be okay for us. :)

It is my understanding that they do hold some tables back for the actual 90 day mark, so good luck!

I am able to figure out most of the abbreviations, but not Remy.
Can someone tell me what that means?
TY

Remy, the lead character of the movie "Ratatouille" is making appearances at Chefs de France between 12:30 and 6. He is only appearing through September 5.

This is not a full costume character but rather a life-size (meaning the size of a regular rat; Remy is a rat who wants to be a chef) "living character" operated by a handler.

Her trip must be before September 5th or she wouldn't be at her 90 day mark.

From the list I don't think anything but Crystal Palace and 'Ohana might be difficult to get.

You could prob log on to the online dine system on Monday and call in hopes of getting what you want!!! Good luck!!!

Sci Fi has been tough to get lately. If it's more important to you than one of the first four, then I would move it up. Otherwise, leave it in the five spot and keep your fingers crossed!

Happy planning! :thumbsup2

Thanks! I have been on this board for just about 72 hours straight trying to get my plan perfect, lol. I have become obsessed!!! :dance3:

Thank goodness my 90 day mark finally comes tomorrow, so my life can get back to normal. :worship: Of course, I may end up tweaking some things here and there, but for the most part, that's it, everything is set!

I am afraid tomorrow morning is going to be absolutely crazy when I try to call in. Thank goodness for free long distance on the cell phone!!!!!!!
